The Monroe Plug & Play puck light is easy to install. Simply attach the pucks to the underside of your cabinets and plug them into a nearby outlet. Alternatively, they can be hardwired to a power source with an additional junction box (sold separately), allowing for use with a dedicated wall switch or dimmer.
Hardwired in-wall dimmers, found in homes worldwide, provide a reliable permanent installation option. These puck lights can be directly wired to an in-wall dimmer switch, offering more lighting options. Adjusting the brightness allows you to match the needs of the space and occasion.
Light your entire countertop from a single power source by linking and daisy chaining up to 20 pucks with an extension cord. This eliminates the need to plug in each individual puck light, enabling you to operate all your lights from one outlet and one on/off switch.
The puck lights' swivel feature makes positioning them under the cabinet a breeze. The light source can pivot 30 degrees forward and backward along the axis of the power leads, allowing you to direct the light to the desired area, such as your backsplash or countertop, for an aesthetically pleasing result.
Each single puck kit includes all the necessary components for easy installation, without requiring a separate transformer or driver. The zinc alloy aluminum housing routes heat away, ensuring a longer lifespan. Both recessed and surface mount options are available.
This unit is wired for 120V operation, with both plug-in and hardwire installations possible. If you choose to hardwire, please order the junction box IN-0501-3 (white) or IN-0501-3-BK (black) for the installation.
The puck lights are dimmable with a wall dimmer switch. Recommended dimmers include the GE 18023 and the GE Z-WAVE Plus ZW3005 14294-2.
