This DIY layout bundle kit is equipped with a variety of components. The kit includes (3) pucks with 12-inch lead wires and 12-inch tail wires, as well as (2) pucks with 12-inch lead wires. Additionally, the bundle contains (2) 12-inch linking cables and (2) 6-foot power cords, along with mounting screws.
It's important to note that the extra puck light kit (IN-0107-1S-SN-27) has an independent power cord and can operate independently. However, it cannot be linked with the 3-pack puck light (IN-0107-3-SN). Instead, it can be connected to puck lights that have lead wire and tail wire (IN-0107-1-SN-27).
The zinc alloy aluminum housing of the puck lights helps dissipate heat, ensuring a longer lifespan. These lights can be recessed or surface-mounted, providing flexibility in installation options.
Furthermore, the bundle kit allows for the connection of up to 20 pucks to a single power supply, making it suitable for larger DIY layouts.
The lighting units are designed for 120V operation and can be installed through plug-in or hardwire methods. If opting for a hardwire installation, it's recommended to order a junction box (IN-0501-3 in white or IN-0501-3-BK in black) to facilitate the process.
These puck lights are dimmable and can be used with various wall dimmer switches. Some recommended dimmers include the GE 18023, Lutron Diva DVCL-153P, Lutron Diva DV-600P, Lutron Maestro MACL-153M, GE Z-WAVE Plus ZW3005 14294-2, Lutron Caseta PD-6WCL, Lutron Skylark SLV-600P, Lutron TG-600PNLH, Lutron AYCL-253P, and Lutron Toggler C.L TGCL-153PH.
