The Newhouse Hardware 1-Gang 20 cu. in. Non-Metallic Ceiling Box is designed for use with non-metallic sheathed cable in accordance with Article 314 of the National Electric Code. The box is made with polycarbonate, is listed for use with masonry walls, and can be used with 90-degree C-conductors. It meets NEMA OS-2, is fire-rated, and UL Listed for safety.
The 1-gang ceiling box has a 20 cubic inch capacity and is intended for new work installation. It features captive nails for easy installation, but it is not intended for fan support. The thermoplastic construction of the box resists rust and does not conduct electricity, making it suitable for residential and light commercial uses.
This ceiling box is designed to work with non-metallic sheathed cable in accordance with Article 314 of the National Electrical Code (NEC). It is comparable to Carlon electrical boxes and is UL and fire safety rated, ensuring its compliance with safety standards.
